The agreement that governs the platform, our conferences, and our publishing services - written to be read.
Last updated: 17 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites and services operated by Technology Fist ("TF", "we", "us"): this website (techfist.org), the Article Management System at ams.techfist.org ("AMS"), and the publishing platform at publish.techfist.org. Technology Fist is the registered business name, and the contracting party under these Terms. It is a business registered in and operating under the laws of Pakistan, located at House # 5, Street # 153, G-13/4, Islamabad, Pakistan, and registered with the Federal Board of Revenue under FBR Registration No. 3310010993532 (FBR Reference No. / NTN 8212392-0). You can reach us at info@techfist.org, by phone at +92 317 5615096, or through the contact page.
Technology Fist is a software company. Our product is the Article Management System (AMS), a cloud platform for academic conferences and journals, provided as: (a) annual AMS subscriptions for venue organizers (AMS Core; AMS Core Plus; AMS Core Plus & Publishing; and Custom for negotiated agreements); and (b) a per-paper, usage-based Article Processing Charge (APC) paid by authors of accepted papers, covering the paper's use of platform resources through the publishing process - production processing, DOI registration and permanent linking, digital-library hosting, and citation/metadata services - charged only where Technology Fist is the publishing service provider (its own and umbrella venues); authors of independent venues pay those venues directly under the venue's own policies. Conference series shown on this site run on the AMS platform; any event registration fees are set and disclosed by the individual venue on its own pages, and the venue — not Technology Fist — is the seller of those registrations.
Certain capabilities sit outside the plans and are enabled for a venue individually on request: the Federation Reviewer Network, portable peer review between venues, indexing & compliance readiness, and the live event layer. They may be withdrawn where the obligations attached to them are not met, without affecting the rest of a licence. Two points of substance apply to them. A peer review is transferred between venues only with the explicit, per-review consent of the reviewer who wrote it, and a receiving venue treats it as background information, never as a decision. Attendance and presentation certificates are statements of record — issued only against a confirmed, checked-in registration or a paper genuinely accepted by that venue — and carry a code any third party can verify. An indexing readiness report measures readiness against published criteria only; it is not an application and confers no indexing status.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these Terms, for fraud, or for conduct that endangers the platform or other users.
An AMS license grants the licensed organization a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for the licensed venue(s) for 12 months from activation. Licenses are delivered digitally: the venue workspace is provisioned after payment confirmation and credentials are sent by email. Licenses do not renew automatically without your confirmation.
All fees are stated before you pay, in the stated currency, and exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Card payments are processed by our PCI-DSS-certified payment partners; where a purchase is made through a merchant-of-record partner (such as Paddle or 2Checkout (Verifone)), that partner is the seller of record for that transaction, applicable taxes are calculated and added at its checkout, and its terms also apply. Card details are handled entirely by these partners and never touch our servers. Bank-transfer payments are confirmed manually and receipts are issued inside AMS. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Everything we sell is delivered digitally - nothing physical is shipped, ever. AMS subscriptions: your venue workspace is provisioned on ams.techfist.org automatically after payment confirmation, and your organizer credentials are sent to your email, typically within minutes and in any case within 24 hours; bank-transfer orders are provisioned once the transfer is confirmed on our side. Article Processing Charges and publication/processing fees: these pay for services performed on the platform itself - production processing, DOI registration, permanent digital-library hosting, and citation/metadata services - delivered on the paper concerned through the published workflow after payment confirmation. Preprints: posting is free on every collection, and the preprint page goes live once moderation is passed. If a collection ever introduces a posting fee, it is shown before you post and the page goes live once moderation is passed and payment is confirmed. If you have paid and not received access or the service within 24 hours of payment confirmation, contact info@techfist.org and we will deliver, or refund under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Publication decisions are made through peer review on scholarly grounds. No fee purchases acceptance, and no refund entitlement arises from an editorial rejection, as set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy and our published editorial policies.
Authors retain copyright in their work and grant the publication license stated at submission (typically CC BY 4.0 for open-access venues). The AMS software, this website, and our branding remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the platform.
You agree not to misuse the services: no unlawful content, no plagiarism or fabricated research, no attempts to breach security or disrupt service, and no misrepresentation of identity or affiliation. We follow recognised publication-ethics practice (COPE) and may act on misconduct, including retraction.
The services are provided with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our aggregate liability in respect of any 12-month period is limited to the amounts you paid us for the services in that period. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. You may close your account at any time; accrued obligations survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
